The holiday home is located in the holiday park at Silbersee, one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Hesse, on a plot of around 1000 square metres with a large lawn and an outdoor seating area.

On the newly designed outdoor terrace you will find garden furniture and a barbecue. A balcony also invites you to linger. Motor vehicles are only allowed on the holiday park to a limited extent, but there are parking facilities nearby.

The family-friendly and cosy holiday home was completely renovated in 2013 and has upscale furnishings. It is suitable for six people and a small child, for whom an additional cot can be placed in a bedroom. The house has a cosy living room with a sofa, large dining area, satellite TV, radio with CD player and wood-burning stove. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find a large fridge and freezer, induction hob with oven, washing machine with tumble dryer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and coffee maker as well as extensive crockery. There is a double bed and a large wardrobe in each of the three bedrooms. Please note that the third bedroom is located on the upper floor of the holiday home. Two shower bathrooms with WC leave nothing to be desired, 1 of which is located on the upper floor.

Shopping facilities are available in Frielendorf (one and a half kilometres away). You can hike on several hiking trails and cycle on mountain bike and cycle tracks. The Silbersee has two beaches, one of which is supervised by the DLRG (seasonal). Many other leisure facilities (e.g. wellness paradise, outdoor climbing park, beach volleyball and basketball court, skating rink, minigolf course, summer toboggan run with a large adventure playground, petting zoo, children's quad biking, giant trampoline, Friloland indoor playground and a lovely beer garden for parents) are all close by. A few kilometres away, the Knüll wildlife park is a popular excursion destination. Also worth a trip are Homberg, Schwalmstadt, Melsungen, Fritzlar, Borken, Bad Hersfeld, Alsfeld, Rotenburg/F or Kassel.
