Our lovingly and very tastefully furnished holiday home "Ostsee" is located off the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula and close to the Baltic Sea, in the middle of the "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" National Park in the "Claus Störtebeker" holiday settlement.
Our holiday home is extensively and tastefully furnished and has a completely fenced (1.20m high fence) garden with terrace, for sole use The use of WLAN, as well as a private carport parking space are free of charge.
From the living/dining area you have access to the terrace and the garden.
Bicycle racks and a garden shed are available for cyclists.
The neighbourhood offers families and dog lovers plenty of variety and nature.
The Bodden is only about 500 metres away and the Baltic Sea beach is about 10 km away. It can be reached quickly by car and is also very easy to reach by bike thanks to the excellent cycle path network. The Baltic Sea cycle path is only a few 100 metres away. The small Bodden village of Pruchten is located on the Barthestrom, a part of the largely unspoilt Bodden landscape with a water area of approx. 250 km². The Bodden offers excellent opportunities for sailing, surfing, fishing and rowing in addition to boat trips to excursion destinations.
According to the ADAC, the water has perfect bathing water quality and is the habitat of countless plants and animal species, such as cranes, sea eagles and seals.
Pruchten itself is a small village situated between Zingst and Barth. Zingst and the Baltic Sea beach are approx. 10 km away. Scenic and beautifully developed cycle paths lead there. From Pruchten, you can reach many car parks on the 65 km long beach of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula within a few minutes by car. Then you only have to walk a few metres over the dyke to enjoy the endless fine sandy beach.
There are regular hourly bus connections across the peninsula and to Barth and Ribnitz-Damgarten, some of which also carry bicycle trailers.
Pruchten itself has a bakery, a fish shop, fishermen (fish sales), a small grocery shop, restaurants, pubs and bicycle hire. In the medieval Vineta town of Barth, 3 km away, there are opportunities for larger purchases in the shopping centre on the outskirts of the town and many shops in the town centre.
Pruchten itself has a small harbour. The nearest larger harbour with a yacht service is in Barth.
