The house is very close to the embankment, which is within easy walking distance. Behind it there are the salt pans that flow out directly into the Jadebusen.

The ground-level holiday house has three bedrooms, of which two are furnished with a single bed (90 x 200cm) and the third with a double bed (180 x 20cm). The double bedroom also has a cot. The bathroom is fitted with both a bath and a shower and also provides a washing machine. The living room has comfortable sofas for the whole family, a range of games and satellite TV. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster and egg boiler. A highchair is available. The house has oil heating.

The most popular trip destinations include the North Sea lagoon in Burhave, the Friesenstrand and the leisure pool in Tossens (all within about a 15-mintue drove). You can spend a day with animals at the Jaderpark about 20km away. Or stroll through the picturesque town centre of Oldenburg about 45km away. You can take the Weserfähre boat to Bremerhaven to visit the Klimahaus or the Auswandererhaus, or go on a shopping tour in Mediterraneo, a shopping mall in a Mediterranean style, which you can combine with a cultural programme. You can round it all off with a delicious ice cream.
