Funtana is a tourist resort in the central part of the west coast of Istria. The indented flat coast with its islets is particularly picturesque and therefore very attractive for tourists. The medieval town of Motovun and the artists' town of Grožnjan, as well as many other small towns in the heart of Istria, can be reached within an hour's drive.
