The historic "Forsthaus am Brocken" (Brocken Forest Lodge), dating back to the 19th century, was extensively renovated a few years ago into comfortable holiday apartments. The holiday home is situated in the Ilse Valley, in the heart of the pristine Harz Forest, beside the wild mountain stream "Ilse." The most scenic ascent to the Brocken mountain, as well as other hiking trails into the Harz National Park, pass directly by the house. The two-bedroom apartment accommodates up to five people. It features an open-plan living area with a sofa and flat-screen TV, a solid wood kitchen, and a dining table. The apartment also includes a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a balcony with views of the Harz Mountains' natural beauty.
