You will find us on a small mountain in a quiet and sunny location in the town of Oberharz am Brocken in the district of Elbingerode. Elbingerode has an altitude of 450 m to 480 m and is centrally and conveniently located to reach all the sights in the Harz in a short time. Be mobile for free thanks to HATIX (Harz holiday ticket) by paying the visitor's tax.
We offer you a cosy, bright living and dining room with flat screen TV and radio. ( completely renovated in 2022 ). It is also equipped with a couch and dining area. The bedroom is equipped with a comfortable double bed 180x200cm (slatted frame height adjustable) and a practical wardrobe The second bedroom is adjacent to the first and accessible through this, it is equipped with a new single bed (90x200cm). Storage space is also available. . The kitchen is equipped with a kitchenette with dishwasher and all typical kitchen appliances. The shower area in the bathroom is spacious with rain shower and at ground level. The bathroom was completely renovated in 2022 and equipped with underfloor heating.

On the terrace you can sit comfortably and have breakfast in the morning or end the evening with a glass of wine.
A charcoal barbecue is available and can be used.
There is a free car park right next to the entrance.

In the immediate vicinity of our holiday flat (approx. 100 m) is our natural lake bath which offers a great cooling off in summer. There is a sunbathing lawn and a sandy beach. Shopping facilities such as supermarket, several bakeries, banks, pharmacy, petrol station etc. can also be found in the village. A children's playground is only about 100 metres from your accommodation.
The village centre is only a few minutes' walk away, where there are also two restaurants.
To many attractions such as the caves in Rübeland , the longest suspension bridge Titan or to Wernigerode with its historic old town it is only a few minutes by car .
By paying the visitor's tax you are entitled to travel FREE of charge on the entire Harz public transport network. The public bus stops are only a few minutes' walk from our holiday flat.
