Detached chalet in Adelboden, district of Ausserschwand: Quiet meadow and hillside location at the foot of Tschentenalp, just a few minutes' walk outside the village center. The entire house is rented to a group, for 2 to 10 people. Old building, completely lined with wood, spread over several floors and not barrier-free – the bedrooms are only accessible by stairs.

Living room/stube with a long table for ten people, benches, and Smart TV, featuring a brick stove that is fueled by the Tiba wood stove in the kitchen (wood is provided). Kitchen fully equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes, along with a raclette and fondue pot as well as its own dining area.

Four bedrooms with eight fixed sleeping places: Two rooms with double beds 140x200 cm, one room with a kingsize bed 180x200 cm, one room with two single beds 90x200 cm (through room, accessible only through the kingsize room). Additionally, a sofa bed 140 cm with two further places, to be specified at booking. One bathroom for all: Bathtub with shower, sink, toilet, and washing machine in the same room. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Central wood heating, operated by guests themselves. Firewood, a pictorial instruction manual, and an explanatory video are available on-site. If desired, we can handle the operation for CHF 30.00 per night. In summer, the hot water can be switched to electric operation.

Outside: Sunny terrace with picnic table, meadow with fire bowl, wood shed, and old fruit trees. We provide the wood for the fire bowl free of charge. Two private parking spaces at the house at no extra charge, storage for skis, sleds, and bicycles. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house.

The house has its own water source with a 400-liter reservoir; during strong drought, about 30 liters flow in per hour. For up to six people, this is unproblematic; for larger groups, we ask for conscious water usage. A larger reservoir is expected to be installed in autumn 2026.

Non-smoking house. Dogs/pets allowed by prior arrangement (CHF 25.00 per animal per day). No parties or events, quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Hayloft and back barn are not accessible to guests.

Bus stop "Adelboden, Ausserschwand" two minutes' walk away, free with the Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg guest card. Village center and Tschentenbahn approximately 20 minutes' walk or 5 minutes by car, valley station Sillerenbahn 8 minutes by car.
