The house is located in picturesque Smaland, with a direct view of Lake Algunnen, near the small town of Rörvik and is roughly halfway between the larger towns of Växjö and Jönköping. The house is furnished in typical Swedish rustic style. It is situated on a rock with a marvellous view of the lake and the surrounding nature. Lake Algunnen is ideal for fishing and boat trips. The tranquillity of the landscape and the unspoilt nature will inspire you. You will find everything you need to make your holiday as pleasant as possible. There is a small supermarket about 2 kilometres away. You can swim at the bathing area directly in the village. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. The larger towns of Växjö and Jönköping are ideal for shopping and cultural activities. They are about 50 minutes away by car.
The house is equipped with all amenities. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and whirlpool. There is also access to the sauna from the bathroom. The large kitchen offers a panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding nature. There is an electric cooker with hob and oven, a coffee filter machine, a toaster and a stereo radio. The living room is furnished with two sofas and two armchairs as well as German satellite TV. A sofa offers space for 2 people to sleep. There is a double bed in the bedroom. In another bedroom there is sleeping space for 2 people.
Please bring your own bed linen and towels. The house must be left in a clean condition on the day of departure. If the flat is not cleaned, the deposit will be forfeited. In the months of July and August, bookings are only possible from Saturday to Saturday. Outside the months of July and August, a minimum rental period of less than 7 days is also possible on request.
A canoe can be provided on request.
Outside there is a covered terrace with a charcoal barbecue. From the kitchen you have access to an open terrace. Both terraces have seating furniture and a table. The house is situated on a large plot of land with a lawn, which can be used by the children as a play area. There is also a carport on the property where 2 cars can be parked.
The Smanland highlands with signposted hiking trails are ideal for hiking. In the summer months you can pick blueberries and mushrooms in the surrounding woods. Lake Algunnen is ideal for boat trips and the villages of Bullerbü and Lönneberga, famous from the Astrid Lindgen films, are within easy reach. The Store Mosse National Park is also a popular excursion and hiking destination.
