In 6 km you can reach the motorway access, with the possibility to explore the many cultural sights of the region: Segesta, Erice, Selinunte, Marsala, Mozia, Palermo and many others. The town of Castellammare del Golfo is a pleasant fishing village on the north-west coast of Sicily. The cosy restaurants invite you to enjoy fresh regional specialities while you watch the fishermen righting their boats. In addition to freshly caught fish specialities, couscous in all variations is also offered here due to the former influence of the Arabs on the west coast. Another highlight in western Sicily is the 5th century BC temple of Segesta, which offers a sweeping and beautiful panoramic view.
