HOLIDAY HOME - APARTMENTS - B & B "SANTA BARBARA" diBadolato is a comfortable late nineteenth-century house, located in the ancient village and carefully renovated while maintaining the atmosphere of the past, set in a scenic, quiet and relaxing geographical context, just 10 minutes drive from the sea.After years spent in Emilia Romagna for work reasons and travelling around the world for travel reasons, the dream of contributing to reviving the ancient village of Badolatosi transformed into a project of conservative restoration and revitalisation of the grandparents' casastorica (a place of indelible affection and moments of family life and joy). This gave rise to the project of a B&B/Holiday Home - a point of reference for many foreign guests, especially from Northern Europe - offering integrated and diversified tourist services and joint proposals for slow, experiential, food and wine, cultural, emotional and social tourism. A carnet of proposals for stays and holidays of yesteryear, linked to popular traditions and the direct history of the place and its community.

The B&B/Holiday House is located on the western side and along Corso Umberto I (n° 78) of the old town centre of Badolato, a charming medieval village, a small crib overlooking the Gulf of Squillace, with fourteen churches arranged in the shape of a Latin cross and many characteristic alleys, which stands 240 metres above sea level, on a hill, and is only 5 km from the white beaches of the Ionian Coast and 9 km from the mountain of Serre Calabresi with its Regional Natural Park; just a few kilometres from nature trails, trekking paths, the 'Ciclovia dei Parchi' cycle route, the Basilian Way and the 'Kalabria Coast to Coast' route. Possibility of water sports, diving excursions, outdoor activities, etc.

The structure is equipped with every comfort, with terraces with sea and mountain views, large bathrooms with shower cubicles, an independent entrance, TV, washing machine use, ADSL line with fast internet (fibre optic) with WI-FI, wood stove, air conditioning (hot-cold), bicycles available.

Inside the house is an ancient 'catojo' (wine cellar) for convivial moments that are typically Mediterranean and Calabrian, a place for meeting and cultural exchange with authentic culinary moments. Santa Barbara is also rural activities and experiences, especially in September-October and November between grape harvests, the olive oil season, culinary tours and cooking courses co-organised with other local partners.
