The exceptional Villa Newlands in Porto Cheli, on the Peloponnese, is surrounded by a 5,000m2 natural garden, and enjoys panoramic and breathtaking views of the nearby sea, islands and mountains. The sun rises over Hydra island, directly due east of the pool deck, inspiring each new day with a majestic sunrise. The two floors villa has no immediate neighbours, ensuring complete privacy and tranquillity. No light pollution, so you enjoy starry nights. The nearest beach is just 1000m away and there are many special semi-private beaches for fabulous calm sea swimming within a short distance. The villa is modern, spacious, well equipped, air-conditioned, and uncluttered, assuring convenience and comfort. It has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms , 5 bathrooms and two kitchens. It can accommodate up to 10 people, plus 1 teenager on a lounge sofa, plus 2 baby cots and a baby high-chair. The villa has proved itself ideal for multi-generation family holidays, nomad workers, executive retreats and multiple family groups. Guests enjoy exclusive private use of the entire fenced property, including the large unfenced pool ( enjoyed at guests' own risk). The full length petanque /boules bowling course provides hours of fun for all ages. It is only a short drive to nearby beautiful villages and many different quiet beaches, hikes and attractions, including bee farms, olive oil and wine estates . Stroll along the country roads, amidst the vineyards with olive, carob, fig, pomegranate, lemon and almond trees. A fast ferry will take you for day outings to the nearby famous islands of Spetses and Hydra, each with their unique atmospheres and exciting night life. Both islands offer multiple hiking trails, biking and famous beaches. Take day trips by car to i) the famous ancient amphitheatre of Epidaurus with its summer theater festivals and music, ii) the town of Nafplion and its remarkable hilltop fortess, Palamidi , iii) Methana volcano and iv) the famous wine region of Nemea. Do not miss the beautiful nearby village of Ermioni and its Thursday authentic farmer's market. Hike the Katafyki Canyon to Ermioni Village. Visit the Didyma caves and eat out at various gorgeous tavernas, all literally on the beach. Dine in the fishing port of Kilatha ! We can offer a host of suggestions for your stay. Water skiing, diving, boating ( no license required), SUP , bike and e-bike rentals are all nearby. You can arrive by ferry from Piraeus seaport or drive from Athens or Kalamata airport – both are beautiful journeys and take approx. 2.5 hours. The host offers 24/7 WhatsApp availability for support and useful suggestions The villa offers: • Two (2) kitchens, one on ground floor(poolside) and one on first floor. • Large outdoor gas fired BBQ. • Bed linen and bath towels and beach towels are included for all guests. • Free WiFi in the villa. • Multiple, spacious sea-facing and shaded balconies and a large marble pool deck. There is a choice of three large, very well stocked supermarkets nearby (including LIDL), specialty bakeries, barista cafes, bars and of course many great Greek taverna's, most with their own WiFi.
