Nearby Dramia you have one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Crete, from Kavros to Georgiopoulis .In the season (April till October) Kavros (1 km) and Georgiopoulis (4 km) are nice places with a lot of tourists, mostly families and not interesting for club-lovers. In wintertime it is very quiet (usual shopping can be done), but Chania and Rethimnon are the places who are still alive. Also nearby is the famous lake of Kournas (the only sweet water lake of Crete), the mountain village Episkopi and Argiropolis, are also popular.
