From their 12m height guests can admire unique glimpses of the main monuments, belltowers, Palazzo Pfanner with its garden, Torre Guinigi with its holm oaks on top and the Botanical Gardens. The historical centre is also worth a visit: Lucca is a beautiful art city, rich of beautiful churches, palazzi, squares and stunning sights. Piazza San Michele, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, San Martino Cathedral, Guinigi Tower and the shopping lane Via Fillungo are not to be missed. You can also discover old workshops, trattorias and excellent restaurants in its picturesque alleys.The many events that revolve around the city make it an ideal destination all year round.It is precisely in the unique setting of the walls that Murabilia is held in September and Verdemura in April, both gardening exhibition markets with flowers and plants of all kinds.
